KCRU School CPR program

The unit recently conducted training in the three post primary schools. This training ” An introduction to CPR & AED ” reinforced training already provided internally.
Well in excess of 1000 students completed training.

The aim of this program is to encourage action to be taken upon witnessing a sudden out of hospital cardiac arrest and is structured upon the core principles in the chain of survival.

The training was conducted over a number of sessions involving in excess of 20 KCRU volunteers with the support of Castleisland CFR and Barradubh CFR.
